What should I expect when I visit B. Golden Salon?
when you visit the salon, you should expect a warm and inviting atmosphere. arrive a few minutes early to fill out our new guest form and enjoy an aveda comfort tea (hot or iced), coffee, or water. we will give you a quick tour so you can feel comfortable throughout your time at the salon (not worrying about finding the bathroom).
Are there any of those little extras Aveda salons do?
yes! we will start each haircut with a stress relieving treatment. a spa shampoo, scalp massage and mini aveda facial are included with every service that includes a hair wash. while your treatment processes expect a hand massage to help pass the time. you may respectfully decline any of these extras but you will not receive a discount for doing so.
What if my stylist isn’t available when I need an appointment?
most of us are more comfortable seeing the same stylist for every appointment. if that is the case, schedule your appointments at least 2 weeks in advance. we also have a waitlist. that means if an appointment is cancelled the waitlist gets first dibs on that appointment time. you are also more than welcome to see any of our other amazing stylists with no hurt feelings!
What if I need to change my appointment?
We realize that things come up and may require schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment we respectfully require at least a 24 hour notice. any cancelation made with less than 24 hour notice will be charged a fee of 25% of the scheduled service.
What if I’m running a little late?
we understand that unforeseen circumstances might have you running behind. please give us a call to let us know. if you will be more than 15 minutes late we may have to reschedule your appointment. if that is the case you will be charged a fee of 25% of the scheduled service.
What if I miss my appointment?
If you fail to show up for an appointment, a fee of 50% of the scheduled service will be charged. if this happens 3 times you will be required to pay in full for any appointment at time of scheduling. if you miss that appointment you will forfit those funds.
Why are all haircuts the same price for children, men, and women?
Aveda is a luxury brand, which means you will be receiving a luxury service.
We start each appointment with an in depth consultation. We want to know what your goals are and come up with a plan to achieve them.
You will then be taken to our shampoo room for a hair wash with shampoo and conditioner that will best suit your hair type and needs.
During the shampoo you will receive a relaxing scalp massage.
Once back in the chair the products that are used will be most beneficial to your hair type and styling process.
You will then have a mini style lesson during the blow dry to teach you how to style your new cut to perfection.
No matter your age or gender, you will Always RECEIVE the full B. Golden Experience.
What if my child isn’t ready for the time a full haircut takes, but I value a quality haircut?
We Understand that sometimes children require a more streamlined appointment to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
our Express Kids cuts are offered to children under 10 years of age.
We start with a consultation to get to know what goal you are wanting to achieve with the haircut.
We do not wash hair with Express Kids cuts, so please bring your child to the appointment with clean hair.
Hair will be wet down with a spray bottle as needed.
Products will used as needed by the stylists.
A light blow dry is included.
A full finished style is not included and is up to the stylist's discretion.
Curling, flat ironing, and other styling can be added on for an additional fee.
Prices range from $30 - $55
Can I bring a child to my hair appointment?
we are a family friendly salon. we just have a few requests to ensure all guests have an enjoyable experience.
Please make sure your accompanying child has what they will need to stay occupied and satisfied.
We ask that children do not run around the salon.
If the child is under the age of 10, please keep them within your eyesight at all times.
for a child’s appointment…Children under the age of 10 must have an adult present at the time of the appointment. If a child is having a hard time we may ask for your assistance.
